Everything you need to know in preparation for the 2024 PRS Leadership Summit.

Your Arrival

  • You made it! We’ll see you soon! The PRS Team will be greeting you upon arrival at the resort.

    Here’s how you’ll get there:

    Step 1:
    Please     redeem your uber business voucher.
    We recommend completing this step before your trip. If it’s your first time using Uber, don’t worry, we’re here if you have any questions.

    Step 2:
    Once you’ve collected your bags, request a ride to:
    The Scottsdale Plaza Resort & Villas

    Step 3:
    Once your ride is requested, you will be directed to the designated rideshare pickup location outside of baggage claim.

    Uber has a helpful guide for the process and we’ve included pickup zone details by terminal below step 4 for your reference:

    Step 4:
    Please ask your driver to drop you off at the main lobby of the resort.

    Uber Pickup Locations by Terminal:
    (Uber app will direct you once your ride is booked)

    Terminal 3
    Entire south outer curb.

    Terminal 4
    Level 1, north outer curb, far west end outside door #1.

    Terminal 4
    Level 1, south outer curb, east end outside door #6 or door #8 and west end door #2.

    Step 1:
    Resort Check-In
    Please visit the front desk to check-in to your room. Doing so upon your arrival ensures access to your room as soon as possible.

    Step 2:
    🎉 Summit Registration

    Once you’ve found your room and dropped your bags, head to the Terraza for an official Summit welcome!

    If your room is isn’t available upon checking-in, the welcome team can direct you to the Terraza for Summit registration and welcome activities while you wait.

    Step 3:
    Explore & Relax

    Take some time to relax and enjoy the amenities at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort.

    PRS will be stationed at the Terraza with refreshments and fun throughout the day.

    Lunch will be available starting at 11:00 AM, plus additional refreshments + appetizers at 3:15 PM

    Scheduled events begin at the Terraza at 5pm.

  • Breakfast:
    Served from 7:00am-8:00am

    Summit Session 4:
    8:00am-10:00am

    Roundtable Discussion Session 1:
    10:15am - 11:45am

    Lunch & Roundtable Discussion Session 2:
    12:00pm - 1:00pm

    Excursions:
    1:30pm - 5:00pm

    Trivia Night:
    6:00pm - 9:00pm

  • Breakfast:
    Served from 7:00am-8:00am

    Summit Session 5:
    7:30am - 8:00am

    Closing Ceremony:
    8:00am - 10:00am

    Resort Check-out @ 11:00am

    Remember to use your Uber voucher for your return trip to PHX.

  • Thursday & Friday:

    Required:

    • Quarter zip pullover (preferably Summit or PRS Branded).

    • PRS Summit 2024 Long Sleeve T-Shirt Thursday Only.

      • 2024 versions of these articles will be distributed at Summit Registration.

    If Applicable:

    • Off-site excursion attire is to be worn under the required dress or brought with you to the meeting room.

      • This is due to limited time between events and departure for excursions.

      • See Excursion Dress Code & Excursion Schedule for more details.

    • Otherwise, Business Casual.

    Saturday: Business Casual

    Please reference the general PRS Dress code policy for more information on Business Casual.

  • See the Excursion Schedule for the details of which excursions you will be participating.

    Hummer & UTV Tours:
    (Required)

    • Closed Toe Shoes and Long Pants

    • No flip flops or sandals

    Guided Hike & Mountain Biking:
    (Suggested)

    • Moisture wicking fabrics

    • Sleeves to block sun

    • No loose or flappy pants for biking

    • Hats

    Golf:
    (Required)

    • Golf Shoes

    • Bermuda-length shorts (no cargo shorts) -or-

    • Slacks

    • Collared shirts or golf mocks (shirts must be tucked at all times)

    Spa (Pedicure)
    (Suggested)

    • Open toe shoes

    • Finger Tip Length Shorts -or-

    • Pants able to be rolled up to your knees

    Please reference the general PRS Dress code to ensure your excursion attire aligns with the appropriate dress policies. Athletic hoodies and finger tip length shorts are allowed.

  • In addition to the above, we suggest you pack layers, a rain jacket, and a mid-weight jacket.

    The forecast for 2/21 - 2/24 in Scottsdale currently calls for highs in the mid 60’s and lows in the 40’s. Use the link below for a more accurate forecast as the Summit approaches.

Roundtable Discussion Questions

Please prepare responses for the following round table discussion questions prior to your arrival.

  • How do you keep long-term employees motivated and engaged? How do you foster relationships between long-term and new employees?

  • What does your clinic do to encourage collaboration, continued learning, and mentorship among clinicians?

  • What are ways that you help clinicians with efficiencies with documentation to ensure they are timely completing notes, etc.?

  • How have you demonstrated leadership adaptability in your clinic with staff, processes, physicians, etc.?

  • Access to care and patients understanding their benefits are ongoing issues. Do you understand the front-end processes of your clinic? If so, how do you manage them? What strategies have been utilized/implemented to ensure all staff are in communication on the patient (i.e. deductible, copay, visit limitations, authorizations, etc.)?
